2007-2008

This was the first year for our team and a very motivating one as we earned all the possible Rookie Awards during our first year. Making our team proud and having bestowed the honor of going to the Internationals during our first year encouraged many students to join the US FIRST Robotics program at our school. During our Rookie year in the US FIRST Robotics program we attained the awards:

CT Regional Rookie Inspiration Award

For spreading the US FIRST Robotics program to the community, to the mayor, to other Yonkers Public Schools, and inspiring a young team with the support of friends, family, parents, mentors, and sponsors; we were honored this award.

NYC Highest Rookie Seed

For being one of the highest rookies ranking in competition towards the end of the qualifying rounds, we were honored this award for our effective use of the team robot during the struggle against other teams; we were awarded this reputation.

NYC Regional Rookie All-Star

For spreading the US FIRST mission to the community and the team and instigating young people to join the fields of engineering and science and working effectively with other robotics teams; we were given the accreditation of this honor.
