Build season is almost over guys! Build season will be terminated on February 23rd! (The ship date of the robot) The Saunders Droid Factory would like to wish all team good luck in making their robots! Information about our build season will go out after the season, until make sure to meet all deadlines on time! Please be sure to attend the crate party! We will be hosting this event in the auditorium of Saunders Trades and Technical High. Make sure to wear your team t-shirts and hoodies. Second hoodie orders have gone out already; we will be expecting them after the winter break. This month has been going well so far, many students are going to the AFYA foundation more often to help out the third world countries. This is a great sign for us and those less fortunate than us! The president is working with his committee group for Chairmans Award. Many new freshmen have just recently joined the team! A special shout out goes to Douglas Browne; a freshman just at Saunders High and is helping very efficiently with the robotics website. Good job and keep it up! The Saunders Droid Factory would like to thank our mentors who despite the cold snowy weather up here are working rapidly with the students to get the robot to finish in time! The team would also like to thank Mrs. Nunes, for making us dinner during our build season to feed our hungry bellies! Thanks once again! Also, new fundraisers ideas have been passed around; lets get to it! Any member who is not part of the build team, can also help out with our button making to get ready for competitions as they are coming up! So be ready to rock the field guys!
