In the eyes of many, USFIRST has had a huge impact on the lives of children and young adults who have been graced with the opportunity to participate in one of the four FIRST competitions. Since 1992, FIRST has been hosting competitions that have inspired kids to do great things and realize the immense opportunities they have in life. Many kids grow up in an environment that causes them to think that their only options are to become a basket ball player or professional actor/actress. USFIRST changes the ball park. It is because of USFIRST, new and innovative ideas will grace the Earth, envisioned by the same people participating in USFIRST today.
