Welcome Back! Hoping everyone had a safe and wonderful holiday! Now's the time for action! As mentioned last month all members hope you've got your sleep because the Kickoff is now just days away. January 9th, Mr. Nunes and Mr. Curaovic will be heading down to NYU Poly Tech to view the Kickoff there, anyone interested may tag along with them but you may have to provide your own transportation. So please see them as soon as possible! Thank you. Also, the Saunders Droid Factory will be hosting the Kickoff in school that day as well in the Saunders Library. All members must either be present there or watch the re-runs to the Kickoff in their own time.
We only have 6 weeks to build! So, anyone interested in helping to build the robot please come on down! Food will be provided by our very own Saunders Culinary major who will be preparing our meals during the 6-week course. We will also be distributing your personalized team hoodies and collecting funds for the cookie-dough as well as for the second shipment of hoodies. Please see Khalil Rivera or Yssavo Camacho for details. Our jeans drive and toy drive is still running, so donate soon to help out those in need today! Machines from the medical center have come in already, and the work is already set! Those who would like to volunteer their hours to help fix up these machines please come and see either Mr. Nunes or Khalil Rivera for details.
