Vision

According to Dean Kamen, the founder of USFIRST, the vision of the organization is, To transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming science and technology heroes. USFirst hopes to inspire creative children and young adults to become the innovative adults of the future. They accomplish this through forcing kids to be creative in environments where they must design mechanisms to accomplish a certain goal with no prior experience or knowledge. This works well because everyone has their own mindset and way of thinking and when you put together the ideas of a team of young adults and children, the possibilities are innumerable.
