Volunteers

The Volunteers of the Saunders Droid Factory are:

Mrs. Ronnermann

A local resident, a US FIRST parent, and the team MOM. She provided her time, her children, and her food to feed all those stayed in school until 9 pm everyday working to feed their hungry bellies with tacos, noodle cups, and many others of her goodies. One of our greatest contributor to our club, Mrs. Tracy Ronnermann. She has been a great help to our club; always giving her time for the growth of our club.. Her son and daughter, both members of our club, Jeffrey and Amy are one of the jewels who have bought the Saunders Droid Factory to its greatest heights today.

Ted Nygreen

The teams volunteer; who not only supported us but inspired the team members to pursue engineering fields. He is the dean of technology division at Westchester Community College and owner of several private businesses. He is an MIT graduate who has remained an active follower for our team. His personal background has also motivated many new members to pursue his accomplishments in information technology.

Mrs. Arroyo

A local resident and a US FIRST parent. She provides the club her full support, her children and made food for the team such as fried chicken. One of the team mom's who supported the team and cheered for us every time we had a win and loss and encouraged us to do our best. All of her children are involved in this club: Daniel, Samantha, and Juliana. Her support has keeps the team going!

Mrs. Griffith

The team mom of 2010 helping out the team by providing us with freshly made food. Also, her child: Derrick Griffth is a second year team member is a major supporter and part of the build team on the Saunders Droid Factory. Mrs. Griffith has also been to Internationals with the team and even then she didnt stop and offered whatever help she could have. A very dedicated mother on the team whose always there for us.

Firooz

The godfather of US FIRST as he has remained a devoted member since the past 10 years! His work has been outstanding over the years. Working with the teams in the local community, his advice and services through ConEdison has been widely appreciated by many teams. Firoozs commitment to the team has been vastly treasured as he helped us in our time of need during our first year when our school was closed for the winter break and the shipping of the robot was due for that time. Firoozs motivation and knowledge gave our team especially the foundations to the building process leading to our success. As he continues year by year to come back and support the team; he has inspired many to join robotics.

Al

ConED member a supporter for the team. He worked with Firooz and the students to train them to work with more tools and equipment during the six-week build season. His help in the team since our first year and our years to come has just been very helpful as his advice gives us a good perspective for the US FIRST game every year.
